Who says dieting is easy?
Last week, I was craving for blueberry cheese cake. When I stopped by the store of choice, I noticed that the price had gone up.
Ok, maybe not.
The calculative mind "saves the situation".
Earlier this week, I went to the same store again.
But still holding back while saying to myself
"Birthday next week. Just buy it next week."
I succeeded in not eating.
The reasoning mind saves the situation again.
Today, I remembered about blueberry cheese cake again.
I entered the store.
Bought a slice.
That's it.
A person's level of delay gratification ability differs from one another.
Thus,
To change your eating habits with the hope of losing weight, you don't just need knowledge about calories, about carbs, protein & fat alone.
Because,
When faced with food,
With all kinds of hormones in the body insisting on eating all kinds of things,
How would one successfully fight the desire?
Actually,
One needs "metacognitive" skills.
That'll allow creating opportunities to make choices.
Not everything is automatic all the time, there is no opportunity to make a choice.
Adding my perspective,
Need the strength of Faith in a practical sense.
So, who says dieting is easy!
